Hi Carly! Congrats on your new home – it looks AWESOME! I chanced upon your blog while I was surfing around for apartments in Singapore. Like you and your hubby a few years ago, my hubby, son and I are venturing to Singapore for a few years beginning next month! We’re from Calgary (Go Flames!) and I was originally from Singapore. My hubby, Jason, was born in Regina but has been in Calgary longer than I have. So, here we are – waiting to sell our Calgary home and heading out for 2 – 3 years in Singapore and it’s a particularly exciting but scary time (even tho I was born in Singapore ). I really enjoyed reading your blog about your experiences in Singapore and elsewhere. It’s almost as if I am reading about ourselves a few years from now I do have two questions for u: you lived near the nature reserve park – would that be Hume Park condo? I am looking online and have found some pretty reasonable places for rent at that condo. So if u did live there, I’d love to hear from your experience on whether it’s a nice condo. My other qn is, which church did u attend in Singapore?
