Indian Cooking Lesson

Sunday was a wonderful day of learning to cook traditional Indian Dishes from an expert and enjoying good company. Rosalind DeBrass is one of our school's music teachers. She and her husband are originally from Southern India and most importantly she is a fantastic cook with a fun loving personality that is always willing to share with others. A wonderful switch - she takes Eball classes from me and in exchange she teaches me to cook!

After carefully selecting a handful of friends to join us - primarily friends who had a taste for Indian, were not vegetarian or such nonsense and could tolerate some spice, we proceeded to whip up a tantalizing sensation. My favorite of the evening was undoubtedly Rosalind's special South Indian Vegetable Curry as well as the Tandoori Chicken. Also made that evening was Aloo Gobi (Potato/Cauliflower), Fragrant Rice, Basic Dal (Lentils), and Raita (Yogurt Salad).

All in all a great experience. We are trying to get a handle on some of the things we'll miss from Singapore.
