Yesterday I was asked by a student: “Ms. Carly, have you ever been K-I-S-S-I-N-G?”
She spelt it out just like that, innocently enough. Apparently she’d heard about this from another friend in class. Did you want to know my answer 
I received a drawing that day from the same student that had “mom” written on it. She said that she meant to write Ms. Carly but had written Mom by mistake. She assured me that this was no problem because I would be a mom soon anyways. Does she know something I don’t know?
