Yippy! Aileen Arrived
Yesterday was Friday, and what a great day it was. I even came home and did a jig. Student-Led Conferences were complete, Aileen had arrived, I was starting my week holiday and Sunday we are off to Bali. Ah, life is good.
Last night, Aileen and I just enjoyed some chatting and then headed off to Holland Village for some pedicures I’d booked us. Aileen’s first one ever! We thoroughly liked our special treatment and with pretty toes headed down the street for some wine and pizza.
Today we had a leisure morning before hiking at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve with the monkeys (aka Daniel and Jeffery) and yes, also the slightly furrier “wild” monkeys. After cooling off in the pool and packing up it was time for dinner around the corner at Al Ameen’s (Thai Muslim). We’ve just arrived home after the Night Safari and are so very sleepy. Aileen has hit the sack and I’m off to have a hot shower. Tomorrow we’ll all head to church together before boarding our plane for a week in Bali.
